The Dell PowerConnect 3548P PoE 48 Port Network Switch is a very popular switch due to its reliability and performance capabilities. The 3548P features forty-eight 10/100 Ethernet Ports with Power over Ethernet (PoE) to power your IP phones and other 802.3af compliant devices. In addition to the 3548P's main ports, there are an additional two combo ports that can be either SFP Fiber or Gigabit Ethernet. These combo ports, also known as dual personality ports, are used for uplinking and stacking additional network equipment. The Dell PowerConnect 3548P supports up to 256 active VLANs, Layer 2 and Layer 3, Quality of Service (QoS), and an easy to use web-based GUI. This Dell PowerConnect has a metal chassis and is rack mountable to save space.
