The RuggON PM-522 is a 10.4" Rugged Windows Tablet with an Intel Dual Core Atom E3827 1.75 GHz processor and 4GB DDR3L system memory. A 64GB mSATA SSD comes standard with the option for a 128GB or 256GB. The RuggON PM-522 Is IP65 certified as well as MIL-STD-810G certified and is drop resistant from a 6-foot drop. The 10.4" XGA LCD is equipped with a 10-point capacitive touch screen with 350 nits brightness and a 700 nits sunlight readable option. The operating temperature is -20° C to +50° C and a single DC input powers the unit. The RuggON PM-522 has many options such as 2D barcode reader, Smart card reader + GNSS and a Magnetic stripe reader.

A 2 mega pixels, 5 mega pixels with auto focus and flash is standard along with a USB 3.0, USB 2.0, Micro SIM slot, Ethernet (via Mini USB to RJ-45 adapter) and Audio speaker / microphone jacks. A Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Blue tooth V4.0 + EDR and an optional 4G LTE are available. The standard 3800mAh, 7.4V battery can be upgraded to a 4200mAh, 7.4V, hot-swappable type.
